Push no. 2 – Knowing you can be better
One of main reasons that I’ve decided to push my limits is that annoying feeling that you can be better. Why do I say ‘annoying’? Well, it is annoying if you slack, if you do less than you can and if you are lazy.
There is so much things that I know I can do, and even more ideas come to me every day that I simply can’t afford myself anymore of that lazy, slacking attitude. I want to live with full lungs.
But… Most of the time what is keeping me from being truly great (in my own eyes) is just some tiny reasons. Nothing big. That is what I think about as a death of a thousand cuts.
- If I’m a bit tired, I give up.
- If not everything is 100% as it should be, just a measly 99%, I give up.
- If there is some obstacle, I give up.
Well, guess what? There is no more giving up!!! I’m pushing myself in all areas of life. I can make everything better, shinier and more abundant. There is infinite possibilities, do not give in to petty obstacles. We can all do it much better.
My reasons that keep me down are:
1. If I haven’t started the day I like, than everything is on the down side, not good enough.
2. Some outside distraction that pops up and annoys me.
3. When I choose not to turn off my mail, chat, FB, G+, and Twitter notifications.
:D
Great post, keep on!
Yes, we all have our own “big” reasons to not be what we could be ;)
Thanks for feedback.
